How did you get into bridal blogging? I started my blog back when bridal blogs were just getting started and my purpose was solely to gather inspiration and ideas for styling my own wedding. I ended up enjoying it so much that there was no way I could give it up after my wedding so I just kept blogging.
What do you love most about weddings? I love the *love* that is behind each and every wedding and how each couple brings that unique love to life in the details and decor.
What’s the most underrated aspect of any ceremony? My favorite photo to always share from ceremonies is the walk down the aisle as Mr. and Mrs., there is always such utter joy in those photos.
Your secret to staying calm under pressure? In regards to weddings, I think it's important to remember the reason for the event which is to bring two people who love each other together in a holy union. If you remember that, most of the small and stressful factors fade away.
Most unique wedding you’ve ever featured? While it may not be unique to some, it is my absolute favorite wedding I've ever shared, as it's so classic and beautiful. It was a preppy Rhode Island beach wedding at Ocean House on Watch Hill and every detail was so carefully planned, everything looked seamless. And one of my favorite photographers, Liz Banfield, was behind the lens which was certainly the icing on top.
Your number one piece of advice for any blushing bride? Relax. Look at your husband and know that this is the beginning of a beautiful adventure together. Savor every moment and splurge on the photographer so you can relive those beautiful moments again and again!
