How did you get into bridal blogging? I noticed a gap in the wedding industry where I couldn’t find a blog dedicated to multicultural, fusion or interfaith weddings. Being in an interfaith relationship, made me begin to think how I’d like to plan my own wedding one day. So, Secret Wedding Blog was born, to inspire other fusion couples and offer advice to those in interfaith relationships
What do you love most about weddings? The fact that two people are declaring their love for one another in front of all their family and friends (and the speeches!).
What’s the most underrated aspect of any ceremony? The groom’s reaction when he first sees his bride.
Your secret to staying calm under pressure? Early planning! Less stress nearer to the day.
Most unique wedding you’ve ever featured? One of the most beautiful weddings I’ve featured was a five day Indian-Vietnamese wedding in Thailand. Each day was dedicated to a tradition from the couple’s culture or faith.
Your number one piece of advice for any blushing bride? In five-ten years time, the decor, food or music won’t be as important as you think. What’s important is how you and your partner enjoyed celebrating your love with family and friends.
