Describe your cooking style in three words: Color-forward. Accessible. Wholesome-but-not-ascetic.
What’s your signature dish? Anything and everything with yogurt.
What do you think is the most underrated ingredient? Yogurt, but this is changing as more people are discovering its savory qualities. We’re starting to catch up with the rest of the world on this point. I’ve even written a cookbook on the topic: Yogurt Culture, which comes out on April 14, 2015. I’m super-proud of it.
What’s the best cooking advice you’ve ever received? Salt early and often.
If you could share a meal with anyone in history who would it be? The Wonder Twins. I’d love to find out how they were able to morph into such cool stuff.
