Describe your cooking style in three words: Fresh. Simple. Family.
What’s your signature dish? My children love my spaghetti and meatballs. I make it every year before the first day of school.
What do you think is the most underrated ingredient? Flat leaf parsley. I think it adds so much brightness, color, and flavor to any savory dish. I also love to use it as a green in my salads.
What’s the best cooking advice you’ve ever received? The worst that can happen is that it doesn’t taste good. Play around and experiment. It’s just dinner, not rocket science.
If you could share a meal with anyone in history who would it be? I would love to have dinner with Julia Child. She embodies everything that I love about cooking. It should be fun and if you make a mistake, no one knows but the cook. She had a sense of humor and put everyone at ease in the kitchen and around the table.
