Describe your cooking style in three words: Decadent. Delightful. Delectable.
What’s your signature dish? Opera Cake, Raspberry Panna Cotta, Lemon Meringue Tart and Red Velvet Cake.
What do you think is the most underrated ingredient? Fresh ingredients and salt.
What’s the best cooking advice you’ve ever received? Be constantly open to experimenting with new flavors and ingredients and always taste the food while cooking.
If you could share a meal with anyone in history who would it be? I am slightly torn, as there are two ladies whom I would love to meet. One is possibly the ever famous Julia Child, and another goddess in the kitchen would be Ina Garten. Personally, I think it would be interesting to learn, and listen to the stories both of them have to share—from prepping a meal, to catering or entertaining guests. And how they accomplished their success in the food and beverage industry. They are an inspiration to me, as they too didn’t study at culinary school as a primary course. However, they eventually decided to focus on their passion; cooking. This is something courageous and I hope that one day I will find the courage to grow my own passion.
