Describe your cooking style in three words: Seasonal. Simple. Connected.
What’s your signature dish? I don’t know if I have a signature dish per se, but I think whenever I bring something to a potluck or picnic you can bet that it’s going to be some sort of hearty salad, or a gluten and dairy-free baked good.
What do you think is the most underrated ingredient? Chickpea flour, mostly because it’s a wonderful flour, even if you’re not gluten-free. I use it for almost everything from breakfast scrambles, to cookies, and as a thickening agent in soups. It’s a super versatile ingredient.
What’s the best cooking advice you’ve ever received? My mom always told me to cook with love and I can firmly say from experience, that when I don’t, it totally reflects in my food.
