What’s your signature dish? Everyone says that I make the best apple strudel muffins.
What do you think is the most underrated ingredient? Onion. I think it is the one ingredient that transforms any dish—salads, stir fries, casseroles— from ordinary to delicious.
What’s the best cooking advice you’ve ever received? Always taste for salt—from my husband.
If you could share a meal with anyone in history who would it be? I would love to share a meal with my great-great-grandmother. I am constantly on the search for my history. I think food tells that story beautifully.
