What’s your signature dish? Pozole.
What do you think is the most underrated ingredient? Hominy. Often only used in menudo and pozole I enjoy finding new ways to use this versatile ingredient.
What’s the best cooking advice you’ve ever received? “Panza Llena, Corazón Contento.” Meaning: Full belly, happy heart.
If you could share a meal with anyone in history who would it be? My grandfather. He was very passionate about sharing a meal with his familia at the table. I would love to be able to spend time with him in the kitchen and listen to his stories.
