L.A. food blogger Gaby Dalkin, is a bona fide Californian gal. As happy in yoga pants as she is in a killer dress and five-inch heels, What’s Gaby Cooking is a food blog all about balance. From her Green Goddess Salad to Slutty Brownies, hop on over to the sunny side of the street.
Describe your cooking style in three words: Colorful. Casual. Californian.
What’s your signature dish? Chips, Salsa, Margaritas and Guacamole. I guess that’s more than a dish, but those are four things that should always be served together.
What do you think is the most underrated ingredient? I’m currently having a major moment with radishes. They are just so pretty and no one ever uses them.
What’s the best cooking advice you’ve ever received? Don’t be afraid to go for it. I was the pickiest eater ever growing up, and it wasn’t until culinary school when my teacher told me to throw caution to the wind and go for it.
If you could share a meal with anyone in history who would it be? I mean, I have a total girl crush on Chrissy Teigen right now. Mostly because that girl loves to eat and she seems like a ton of fun.
