Describe your style in three words: Edgy, casual, ever-changing.
What’s one go-to piece every woman should own? A black leather jacket—the kind that never goes out of style (like a motorcycle jacket), and the more worn in it gets, the cooler it looks.
Dress up or dress down? It depends on the occasion but I usually opt for dressing down and using accessories and heels to take an outfit from night to day or casual to dressy. Especially for NYC where unless it’s a cocktail party or gala event you can get away with dressing down.
What’s one fashion rule you’re proud of breaking? All of them? That’s the beauty of New York (no one will notice—or rather they will assume you did it on purpose). I’ve worn black with navy, white after Labor Day… Rules are meant to be broken—as long as you can make it work!
What is your 2014 New Year’s Style resolution? To organize my closet so I actually know what’s in it. And to become a hat person.
